STATUS — ACTIVE — SIX-COMPANY LAYER CONFIRMED DISSOLVED, ALL FOUR HULLS TRACED TO COMPANIES ALREADY NAMED IN THIS SERIES, CETUS RENAMED POST-DESIGNATION
10 MIN READ — CAPTURED 12 AUG 2026

A short video walks through the reconstruction. Part 3: Eleven Designated. Part 5: The Routes Diverge.

Part 2 named six companies — Martin Trading FZE, Nautical Solutions Group, Duke Logistics LLC-FZ, Alia Ship Serve Co, Mendes Ventures LLC, Tetris Associates LLC — installed in owner/ISM-manager pairs across four hulls (DENVER, MIMOZA, MAGNOLIYA, CETUS) within a five-week window in early 2024, and left one question open: whether that same six-company layer managed tonnage beyond those four hulls. It doesn't — but not because the check came back empty. It came back empty because the layer itself is gone.

Six companies, zero vessels

Each of the six companies' own Equasis pages, pulled directly on 11 August 2026, returns the same line: no vessels in fleet. Not "fleet not disclosed" — an active company record, in every case, with a registered address and a status of "Active," but nothing currently listed under it. That is a real result, not a data gap, and it rules out the original question as originally framed: these six companies are not managing a wider fleet today, because Equasis does not currently attribute any hull to any of them.

That result only means something once it's checked against what it doesn't say. The six companies going quiet doesn't mean the four hulls they installed on in 2024 went quiet with them. Each hull's own management history is a separate, current record, and none of the four still lists any of the original six.

Two hulls, the same Mumbai company Part 3 already led to

DENVER's and MIMOZA's own registry pages, pulled the same day, show a different pair of companies entirely.

DENVER's registered owner is Centauri Services LLC, in place since 1 June 2025 — registered at "C/O: Lumen Ship Management FZCO," the same Unit 405, Jumeirah Business Center 5 address as Lumen itself, the company Part 3 already names as MAVERICK's manager during its own detention. DENVER's ISM manager and commercial manager, more recently, is Charai Sea Shipping Pvt Ltd — the Mumbai company at the center of both Part 2 and Part 3 — since 23 June 2026.

MIMOZA shows the identical pair, in the identical roles, on close but not matching dates: Centauri Services LLC as registered owner and commercial manager since 1 June 2025, Charai Sea Shipping Pvt Ltd as ISM manager since 27 February 2026.

Part 2 already flagged Centauri Services LLC and Lumen Ship Management FZCO as connected — it reported both DENVER and MIMOZA converging on this pair "before reaching their current managers." What's new here is which company actually holds the operational roles today, and when each one took them: Centauri as owner of record, at Lumen's own registered address, and Charai Sea Shipping — not Lumen itself — running both hulls day to day. Two hulls, two companies, one shared correspondence address, both companies already known to this investigation before this piece.

One hull, fully inside a building already in this series

MAGNOLIYA's record is simpler and more complete. As of 25 March 2026, Ocean Solutions LLC holds all three roles at once — registered owner, ISM manager, and commercial manager — at Office 39-N, Liter A, ul Marata, 69-71, St Petersburg. That is the same building, differing only by office suite, as North Vector' LLC, the company Part 3 built its own findings around. Part 3 already noted, in passing, that Ocean Solutions LLC's own MELISSA and KOLOSS sat unexamined. MAGNOLIYA is a third hull under the same manager, fully consolidated rather than split across an owner/ISM pair the way DENVER and MIMOZA are.

MAGNOLIYA already carries its own EU designation, filed under "Khalasi," dated 19 December 2025 — a name this hull dropped before this piece was researched, not after. Ocean Solutions LLC itself carries no designation under any name checked, the same position North Vector' LLC holds in Part 3.

One hull, already designated under its own name, renamed anyway

CETUS is the fourth hull, and its current record carries the sharpest single fact in this piece: it no longer sails as CETUS. Equasis now lists it as MERIDIAN.

CETUS is also the one hull among these four whose EU designation — 20 July 2025 — was filed under the exact name the vessel carried at the time. Unlike DENVER, MIMOZA, and MAGNOLIYA, which Part 2 already reported as designated under names ("Denver" aside) they'd since dropped, CETUS needed no alias tracing when it was designated: the listing and the hull's name matched. That match no longer holds. A sanctions screen run today against "MERIDIAN" would return clean. The designation is still there, filed by IMO 9418482, but the name on the hull and the name on the listing have split apart since — the same pattern this series has documented on VAGA, SOYANA, VYCHEGDA, and every other renamed hull in it, now confirmed on a fifth.

The rename lines up with a management change on the same day. CETUS/MERIDIAN's registered owner, since 30 June 2026, is Anemone Marine Inc — the company Part 2 first confirmed on this hull — registered "C/O: Lumen Ship Management FZCO," the same address pattern as Centauri Services LLC above. Lumen Ship Management FZCO itself took over as commercial manager the same day, 30 June 2026, having already held the ISM manager role since 11 January 2025. The rename is not independently dated in Equasis's own record beyond the "last update of ship particulars, 11 August 2026" line; whether it took effect on 30 June 2026 alongside the management change, or at some point in the six weeks after, is not resolved here. [Partly narrowed — the record now places the rename in August 2026; the exact day remains unestablished. See the update of 24 August 2026 below.]

What this doesn't establish

Centauri Services LLC and Anemone Marine Inc share a registered address with Lumen Ship Management FZCO, not necessarily common ownership. A shared correspondence address is the same category of evidence Part 3 flagged for North Vector' LLC and Ocean Solutions LLC — suggestive, checkable, and not on its own proof that one company controls another. Two companies registering "care of" the same management-services office is also consistent with Lumen simply providing registered-agent services to unrelated clients, a legitimate and common arrangement in this jurisdiction. This piece states the addresses match and stops there.

A Ocean Solutions LLC's consolidation of MAGNOLIYA does extend its own footprint across this series — a third hull, after MELISSA and KOLOSS, though those two remain unexamined and are not re-counted here.

What remains open

The six-company handoff thread is closed: the six companies from Part 2 hold no vessels today, and the four hulls they once managed are traceable, individually, to companies and addresses already inside this investigation. The background-rate comparison — testing whether this network's port-state outcomes differ from an unrelated tanker cohort calling the same ports — is not addressed here and remains the one thread still carried forward from Part 2.

Evidence and confidence

Claim — evidence basisGrade
All six companies Part 2 named (Martin Trading FZE, Nautical Solutions Group, Duke Logistics LLC-FZ, Alia Ship Serve Co, Mendes Ventures LLC, Tetris Associates LLC) show zero vessels in fleet on their own current Equasis pages, pulled 11 Aug 2026A
DENVER: registered owner Centauri Services LLC (since 1 Jun 2025, c/o Lumen Ship Management FZCO); ISM/commercial manager Charai Sea Shipping Pvt Ltd (since 23 Jun 2026)A
MIMOZA: registered owner + commercial manager Centauri Services LLC (since 1 Jun 2025); ISM manager Charai Sea Shipping Pvt Ltd (since 27 Feb 2026)A
MAGNOLIYA: owner, ISM manager, and commercial manager all Ocean Solutions LLC (since 25 Mar 2026), Office 39-N, ul Marata, St Petersburg — same building as North Vector' LLC (Part 3)A
CETUS: registered owner Anemone Marine Inc (since 30 Jun 2026, c/o Lumen Ship Management FZCO); ISM manager Lumen Ship Management FZCO (since 11 Jan 2025); commercial manager Lumen (since 30 Jun 2026)A
CETUS's current Equasis record lists the hull as MERIDIAN — a name change since its own 20 Jul 2025 EU designation, which was filed under "Cetus," the name the vessel carried at designation timeA
MAGNOLIYA already carries its own EU designation, filed under "Khalasi," dated 19 Dec 2025 (Part 2)A

What would prove this wrong

  • "No vessels in fleet" on the six companies' own Equasis pages is Equasis's current snapshot, pulled 11 August 2026 — not a claim that these companies never held other tonnage at any point, only that none is attributed to them now.
  • The Centauri Services LLC / Anemone Marine Inc / Lumen Ship Management FZCO address match is one data point, addressed directly above — not evidence of common ownership beyond a shared registered correspondence address.
  • CETUS's rename to MERIDIAN is confirmed by Equasis's current record but not independently dated beyond the 30 June 2026 management change and the 11 August 2026 particulars update — the exact day the name changed, within that window, is not established here. [Still stands — IHS records identity history to the month, so the exact day is not established. The window has narrowed to August 2026; see the update below.]
  • The background-rate comparison remains unresolved, carried forward from Part 2 and Part 3 unchanged.

Method

Sources for this piece: each company's own Equasis fleet page, pulled 11 August 2026; each hull's own Equasis management-detail record, pulled the same day; and the IMO-anchored EU designation dataset already used throughout this series, cross-referenced against Part 2's own designation table for DENVER, MIMOZA, MAGNOLIYA, and CETUS rather than re-run from scratch, since none of those four designation dates changes with this piece.

Every company and every management role stated above is drawn directly from Equasis's own current record, checked against the hull's IMO number rather than the name it happens to carry — the same discipline Part 3 applied across eleven hulls, applied here across four.

Update, 24 August 2026

The rename is narrowed, and it came with a reflag. A later Equasis pull carries what this piece could not see. CETUS became MERIDIAN with effect from August 2026, and the hull reflagged from Sierra Leone to Russia in the same month. Its MMSI changed with them, from 667002291 — a Sierra Leone number — to 273273370, a Russian one.

On the precision of these dates. Equasis renders the IHS Maritime name and flag histories as 01/08/2026, which reads like a specific day and is not one. Across the 614 name-history rows held for this investigation, every one falls on the first of a month; the management-detail rows, which come from company filings rather than IHS, fall on the first only 8% of the time. IHS identity history is recorded to the month. So the rename and the reflag are placed in August 2026 and no closer, and the caveat above — that the exact day is not established — still stands. What has changed is the window: it ran from 30 June to 11 August, and it is now August.

Three identifiers moved in one month. The name a screening list is searched by, the flag a port state sees, and the number a vessel broadcasts. The IMO number did not move, and neither did the designation: the European Union's listing of 20 July 2025 is filed against IMO 9418482 and still reaches this hull under any name it carries.

A fifth hull the six-company layer touched. URIEL (IMO 9336517) carried Nautical Solutions Group — one of the six companies Part 2 named — as ISM manager from 7 April 2024. That sits inside the same window that put the same company on DENVER (21 March 2024) and MAGNOLIYA (8 March 2024). This does not change what this piece found: those six companies hold no tonnage today, and that remains true. It extends the finding backwards. The layer touched five hulls, not four, and the fifth was not examined here.

Part 5

Update, 15 August 2026: this thread is resolved, not by comparison. Part 5 found that the background-rate comparison carried here doesn't have a shared port set to run against — DENVER, MIMOZA, and MAGNOLIYA independently reconstruct to three separate trade theaters, including a previously undocumented Pacific-coast pattern on MAGNOLIYA. The comparison as originally framed is retired, not completed.

NORTH VECTOR' LLC'S FLEET + 3 MORE HULLS, ALL EU-DESIGNATED
A third St Petersburg manager, North Vector' LLC, surfaced from the same lead that closed Part 2's open threads. It carries no sanctions designation from any authority checked. All eleven hulls traced to it and its immediate network do — seven of them under a name the vessel no longer sails under. All five are now independently confirmed, by our own AIS tracking, as counterparties to a hub already tied to this network's Gatik connection.

This case file is a factual reconstruction from AIS broadcast data, public sanctions and advisory listings, and open corroborating sources. It is not legal advice and does not allege criminal conduct by any named individual. Reference: AISD-GLOBALSEAWAY-PART4-2026.
